Using the site

By using focobcn.com you agree to use it lawfully. The site is for adults of legal drinking age. Menus, prices and opening hours can change; what is on the bar on the night is what counts.

Content and brand

The FOCO name and logo, the text, photographs and design of this site belong to Thomas Bars, S.L. or are used with permission. Please ask before reusing them.

Links to other sites, such as Google Maps, Instagram or the press, are there to help. We are not responsible for their content.

Law

Spanish law applies. Any dispute goes to the courts that the law sets; for consumers, those of their own home.

What we collect and why

• Enquiry forms (groups, private hire, consultancy, guest shifts): your name, email and any phone number, company or details you send. We use them to reply and to arrange what you asked about. Legal basis: steps you ask us to take before an agreement, and our legitimate interest in answering you.
• The Foreign Desk newsletter: your email. We use it to send the newsletter. Legal basis: your consent. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or write to us.
• Emails you send us: we use them to reply.

How long we keep them

Enquiries: as long as we need to deal with them and for up to two years afterwards, unless they become a booking or a contract, which we keep as long as tax and accounting law requires. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.

Who else sees them

Only our team, and the companies that run the tools we use on our behalf: Squarespace (this website and its forms) and Google (email and file storage). They may process data outside the European Economic Area, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We never sell your details or pass them to anyone for their own marketing.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, object to or limit how we use them, take a copy, or withdraw consent at any time. Write to info@focobcn.com. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos at aepd.es.

This site runs on Squarespace. Squarespace sets the cookies the site needs to work and to remember your cookie choice. If you accept analytics cookies in the banner, Squarespace also counts visits so we can see which pages people use. We do not use advertising cookies.

You can change your choice at any time from the cookie banner or in your browser settings. Squarespace lists every cookie it uses in its help centre.

We do not embed maps, Instagram or video on this site. Links to those sites open them, and their own cookie rules apply there.
